Code Red Wrestling is not only about being the best writer, but also having fun and telling great stories. CRW aims to book its shows in an interesting format that will bring excitement not only to the handlers involved but to everyone who takes the time to read the show. By emphasizing good story development, CRW's bi-weekly shows will be purposed to build up exciting pay per view events that will see great feuds and matches take place in a 5 star format.
Segments, both "seen" and "unseen" will be key to making a story truly come to life, and in CRW handlers are encouraged (but not required) to submit their own segments and/or collaborating with other handlers to put together interesting and compelling segments that help promote not only the character in question, but to push the feud they are involved in. If you are not in a feud, or would like our creative staff to start working on something for you, we will gladly write a segment for your character, giving you the opportunity to play off of it moving forward.
"Seen" segments are written just like things you would see on WWE programming or any other "major" promotion. A segment in or out of the ring that is on the tron for all to see. It is public knowledge.
"unseen" segments are in the "Lucha Underground" vein, where the view knows what has happened (in this case only the OOC readers) and the characters not involved directly are none the wiser. This allows for more story telling without the rest of the fed knowing what has happened in character, allowing for some IC intrigue without hiding things from the OOC people involved. Not all feuds need this, but it will help certain feuds expand on the story/backstory while building interest.
Our Bi-Weekly show, Sunday Night Face Off will be an angled show. RP's should still be written but they will not be graded for the Face Off match in question. They will however be used in the grading process for the Pay Per View match, making them still important.
Super Card / Special Event (PPV type) matches will be graded and rewarded based on the work you put in through out the entire show cycle (all face off's and PPV build up weeks included) just as bigger pushes and angles are based on your overall performance and momentum, winning your blow off match in a feud on the super card is based on how you did during the cycle, not just trash talking or character developing, but how you sold the story and made it interesting, working with what the staff gives you during the build up etc.
