Strengths
- Strength: Since before going to prison, Rex spent a lot of time focusing on perfecting his physical form. He's got a lot of muscle mass, but he's not so big that it impedes his abilities. He's strong, and it shows in his striking and grappling ability.
- Conditioning: Rex has always focused on cardio and conditioning. Despite being a smoker he is in peak physical form, allowing him to be as quick as his body permits and last as long as he may need.
- Determination: Even in the face of insurmountable odds, Rex often has the ability to block many other things out and focus on the task at hand, pushing through to achieve his goals. It doesn't always work, as evidence by the times he has broken mentally.
Weaknesses
- Obsessive & Stubborn: Rex can become easily fixated on an idea, whether it be the idea of destroying some person in particular or achieving something. He'll then become blind to his surroundings and get really hard on himself if he fails. Along with that, he's very stubborn. Often won't listen to reason or advice until it gets told to him repeatedly.
- Reckless: In the ring and out of it, he has a rampant disregard for consequences. Often tied to his obsessiveness, he will want to accomplish something no matter what without compromising his morals. This was quite obvious in his feud with Evan, though there he did compromise his morals. This also applies to his regard for his own well being, while many wrestlers with this issue are willing to use their body as a weapon, it applies to Rex differently. He doesn't know when to quit, as evidenced by his battle with Marko Flins.
- Volatility: Due to some of his disorders, he's extremely volatile in terms of emotions. He's very quick to get angry or upset, though he has gotten a better handle on hiding it and keeping it in. It remains to be seen whether keeping it in is the smart decision.
- Disorders: He has various disorders that affect the way he acts, though he is currently on medication to help keep them in check. He has been diagnosed with manic depression, schizophrenia, among other things, and suffers from anger management and addiction.
- Infamy: Rex's history is no secret, and that is often a hindrance to him. Enemies like to exploit his past to wear down his mind, which can cause him to lose focus and control of his emotions. Sometimes however, it has the adverse effect.
Move Information
Finisher
(1) Unstoppable (Spear)
(2) Green Light (MMA-style Standing Guillotine Choke, after a few seconds he will leap up to add body scissors which often brings them both to the mat, Rex on his back with his opponent's head precariously driven into the canvas.)
Wrestling/Fighting Style
- Rex bases most of his offense on striking and grappling
- He tends to act like a beast, hitting opponents hard and fast
- Can lose temper easily, causing him to lash out and be a little more punishing
- Is not afraid to snap in a submission to control the pace if he feels overwhelmed
- What many don't understand is that there is a lot more to Rex than just strength and aggression, he is well-versed in the technical aspects of wrestling as well, he just doesn't often need to utilize it
- Rex has steadfast morals, meaning he will never do anything outside of the rules
- Rex also believes that the only weapons he needs are built in, so even if legal he will not utilize weapons and often looks down mildly on those who do
- He will never do anything high-flying unless it cannot be avoided
- Two exceptions to above rules:
---1. Closed fists. If they’re illegal, he usually doesn’t care. It has cost him “rope breaks” in Heritage Rules matches before
---2. The only time he will do anything high flying is if it is in the midst of a very important, meaningful feud. For instance, he has done a Suicide Dive version of the Unstoppable (dubbed the Unstoppacide) to previous enemies like Diego de la Vega and Evan Envi
