I have never been a huge believer in massive restrictions on what you can and can't do in a roleplay, so while this list could be expanded on as we move forward here are the basic rules and regulations for a roleplay.
1. Do not use another character that does not belong to you without permission.
This should go without saying, but in a ROLEPLAY you can not use another handlers' character without their permission. In a segment that starts to change, it is still best to get permission first, and if you do not, the segment could be altered or even run-by the handler in question before it goes into a show to insure it is written properly.
2. All Roleplays must be submitted on these boards. No 3rd Party Websites / Angelfire / Geocities etc.
For a roleplay to be considered for a cycle it must be posted within the deadline perameters on our boards in the proper forum. 3rd party hosted RPs will not be read.
3. Once an RP is posted, you may only edit to fix coding and/or glaring typos (within a reasonable period of time)
Please do not edit your post after it has been up for an hour, or longer than 5 minutes after the RP deadline expires (whichever occurs first). An RP posted 3 hrs before deadline has 1 hour to be edited/corrected. Where as an RP posted 30 minutes before deadline would only have 35 minutes to be edited. This is not a rule that will DQ you from an angle, but repeat offesnes could be punished more severely.
4. Do not assualt/beat up/injure NPC's that do not belong to you without permission
If you want to set a CRW employee on fire, you will need the staff's permission to do so. Same goes for other handler's NPCs, just an extended version of rule 1, but it has to be said unfortunately.
5. Do not go OOC on people in your RPs.
This is a game, I have brought CRW back to be a fun place to tell great stories. If you don't like someone personally either take it up with them in private, or do not talk to or about them and live in your own bubbles. Do not take pot shots OOC or troll a character you have nothing to do with in your storyline just to get under their skin. Hopefully this isn't an issue, but if it becomes one, we will take action to end it.
