Fan Interaction
K.T. likes the fans. She thinks they're swell, and they think the same of her. She'll slap hands and schmooze most of the time... unless it's really high stakes and she's got to have her focus turned up to eleven.
Biography/Upbringing/Influences
To be honest? K.T. (short for Kassandra Trudy) didn't want to be a wrestler when she was a kid. Her thoughts were trained more on the pitching mound-- not softball, but the real big leagues. Being the first woman to make it to the Orioles or Red Sox (because fuck the Yankees) was her goal, the reason she spent more of her time on the pitcher's mound than she did just about anywhere else when she was growing up. Keeping good grades was a struggle, but she managed--mostly on account of how she'd be benched if she didn't keep that 'B' average. Even if her pride didn't want to let her accept being on some softball team, her parents had finally convinced her to take the step in letting one of the recruiters from Baylor take her under their wing.
That all changed the moment her older brother suddenly came down ill.
Professional wrestling was Kaden's athletic dream, and he had been training for it with the same vehemence and determination as his kid sister chased after baseball. The failure to grip the bottom rope to haul himself into the ring was the first sign of ALS's presence. He was one of the youngest men to ever get that diagnosis, and it tore him apart so much that K.T. took it upon herself to take up his dream so he could live it, vicariously, through her. She trained for a year and a half before she set off to Sunrise Wrestling in June of 2014... and it closed after putting on a single show. Before she could pick up the pieces of that, Kaden's condition took a turn for the worse and she found herself afraid to leave his side. She got one more year with her brother before the disease colloquially named after a baseball great--a case of irony if ever there was one--took him away from her.
Complete and utter radio silence followed.
Just what all happened during that time isn't hard to guess at, but K.T.'s not really willing to talk about it to most people. Besides, does it matter? The end result is that she's taking on professional wrestling again--not just to honor her brother's memory, though her every match is as much for him as it is for her.
She's doing it for herself this time, too.
(And no, for the last time--she's not related to Kerry Windsor. Promise.)
Strengths
- Surprising Strength - K.T. is strong for her size, though her right arm is significantly stronger than her left. Considering the muscle mass needed for her to attain a 75 M.P.H. fastball, well... that shouldn't be too surprising.
- Quickness - To put it simply, K.T.'s the embodiment of being quicker than a hiccup. She's managed to get even faster than her previous in-ring performance, and she gained every last bit of that speed the hard way. No steroids here, mang.
- Angel in the Outfield - Even if he's no longer alive, K.T. firmly believes her brother's watching her matches from what she calls 'the best seat in the house'... and she wants to do him proud. She'll draw from that desire to survive a lot more punishment than some might think possible, and she'll dig incredibly deep to try to turn the tides in her favor.
Weaknesses
- Size - If I need to explain this, then there's no helpin' you.
- Inexperience - She only has one actual, for really-real match under her belt. She won it, sure--but that over two years ago. Which leads to...
- Ring Rust - It sounds contradictory, but it's the truth. She's sparred, but sparring and the real deal are two wildly separate things.
Move Information
Finisher
(1) Chin Music.
(Spinning Backfist from Hell.)
(2) Brock for Broglio.
(Sling Blade.)
Wrestling/Fighting Style
Speed-based brawler. Basically? She makes up for her comparatively small size by putting a lot of momentum behind her blows each and every which-way she can. Think like the Scout from Team Fortress 2 with fists instead of a baseball bat... well, during regular matches anyway. *ahem*
Basic Move Set
...beyond what I like to call the basic moves everyone knows?
Spinning back elbow.
Chop block, both to the back and the front of the leg.
Jumping corner clothesline.
Springboard Clothesline.
Surprisingly stiff clotheslines overall, actually.
Punching combos
Lou Thesz Press with mounted punches (sometimes diving).
European uppercut.
Diving European Uppercut.
Superman punch.
Bionic elbow.
Running corner high knee.
Swinging neckbreaker.
Running swinging neckbreaker.
Fist drop.
Second rope fist drop.
STO.
Second rope back elbow (possible use as an Irish Whip counter).
Drop down uppercut (as a back body drop counter).
Various and sundry speed-and-dexterity-based dodges.
Signature Moves
Charging The Mound (Sliding Lariat.)
Clutch Hitter (Head Pull Backbreaker.)
Sweeping Curve (Rolling Elbow.)
No-Hitter (Arm Triangle. In submissions matches, this is what she'll go for.)
Willingness to Cheat
Probably a 2. If she's in a feud-ending match with someone that's cheated to beat her in the past, she'll do her damndest to turn those tables on them in the most humiliating way possible. Beyond that, though... probably not.
Favorite Match Type
No DQ matches, probably. I've got some ideas for a specific specialty match, but I'd like to save the unveiling of it for when it comes into play.
Favorite Weapon Type
Unsurprisingly, baseball bats.

Entrance
If this needs pared down, let me know.
The overhead lights dim as the opening chords of 'Leader of the Broken Hearts' hit the sound system. Spotlights in shades of blue, green, and purple swirl over the crowd as they begin to cheer in anticipation of the young woman that is about to emerge from the back, the first verse playing as a few members of the audience near the rampway--probably friends or relatives of K.T. Windsor-- take out purple glow sticks and begin to wave them to the beat of the music.
All the lies you told are now the truth.
Here I am with nothing left to lose.
Now that I'm crawling in my skin, maybe it's time I just give in.
I've become the leader of the broken hearts.
It's as the chorus swings into full gear that K.T. surges out from behind the curtain, her arms outflung and her head thrown back as she screams to the heavens. What she's shouting is lost to the sound of the music and the crowd alike, but it's not long before she's looking to the ring and beginning to head toward it.
And now I finally know what it feels like to risk everything and still survive.
When you're standing on the battlefield and all the pain is real...
that's when you realize that you must've done something right,
'cause you've never felt so alive.
Spying the novelty items as she heads down the ramp, the purple-haired pugilist doesn't bother hiding how tickled she is by the gesture. K.T. snags a couple for herself when they're offered to her, raising them over her head and moving them to the music in the same way that those fans are as she heads for the ring, the steps ascended in short order. Using one hand to help herself sling-shot into the ring, K.T. mounts the nearest turnbuckle and does her best to play to the crowd... and the smattering of cheers she receives in response gets all the louder when the former baseball player gently tosses her own glow sticks into the crowd, the last one given a bit more pepper as she aims for one of the higher levels of the arena's seating. Hopping down from her perch, she goes through some basic upper-body stretches as her music fades.
