So yeah, seven seasons in (and read the comic every month) and I am still hooked on this show (not so much the silly spin off.) I know many scoff at it for what I consider silly reasons (not enough zombies is the most common thing I hear ...but that is not really understanding the concept of the series), but I am still REALLY digging this show. Now, to be honest, I knew how was going to die during the premiere. Yes, it was because of leaks ...but also being a comic reader you understand that the only alternative to what happened in the comics was going to piss off a whole nation of screaming fan girls (and boys.)
Either way, I was satisfied with what went down ...not so much the cliffhanger that was meaningless. The only reason for that was ratings and AMC has no one to blame but themselves because what happened was almost immediately leaked. Again, knowing what I know from the comics, and my favorite character from the comics being introduced next episode, I am very excited for what is to come this season.

I've watched it since the very beginning. I never miss an episode. I couldn't get into the spin off either. I tried to watch it but I just don't know.
The season premiere was great. I was a little surprised that they off'ed two people but I knew one of them was on borrowed time. Atleast going from the comic timeline. Can't wait until the next episode.

you guys are crazy. fear is great. slow start, but solid show, just as good at character building as the original. frank dilane as nick clark kills it every episode.

I know people are bitching about last night's episode on the internet, but I enjoyed it. Keep in mind that I am a comic book nerd and Ezekiel is my favorite comics character. Combine him with my favorite TV character, Carol, and you are going to have an episode that I enjoy. I thought Shiva looked VERY good for being "television" CGI and am just happy that they went through with it. Was it slow? Yes, but I don't think people understand that the the character heavy episodes are needed so the gigantic zombie fights feel earned ...so you care about the characters involved in them. I liked it.

Man, I am a fan of everything The Walking Dead. From the show to the comics to Fear The Walking Dead. Except, maybe the first half of the second season of that. The first half sucked majorly. Otherwise, I have enjoyed it. I am enjoying this season thus far. Very, very good thus far. Cannot wait for the next episode.
